A few words from the Author

By day I'm a legal assistant but where my interests really lie is in writing.  The stories of The Shadow Within and My Familiar along with others, have been rattling around in my head for many years.  However, thinking a story out in my head for my own entertainment and actually writing it down on paper proved to be two entirely different things.  When the story exists in your mind it's easy to take out the characters and play whenever you want.  But writing involves much more discipline and a stationary place to actually get the words down, which isn't quite as easy. Last year a local community newsletter of in my home town did an article on me.  I was quite surprised when I opened my mailbox and realized the interview was located on the front page.  The interviewer was a very nice lady and I was very pleased with the resulting article.  I am posting it here if you are interested in reading it :-)                                                Community News Letter

In the time since I published The Shadow Within I've become a part of a couple different online groups, most particularly Myspace.com and LibraryThing.com.  As an avid reader LibraryThing has been an amazing place to hang out.  I've really gotten in to the swing of reading a book and writing a review immediately after.  If you're interested in visiting me on LibraryThing my profile name "jenson_AKA_DL".  It used to be "Demonlover" as a play on my love for my characters, but I decided that maybe people wouldn't get the joke.
